Joe Freshgoods x NB Made in USA 992 Shoes

First released in 2006 to commemorate new balathtnce’s centennial, the 992 combined familiar Colors elements of previous 99X releases with new features that would add the evolution of the series' design. More pronounced ergonomic curves together with the introduction of ABZORB SBS cushioning in the forefoot and heel brought advances you could see—and feel. Using premium suede and mesh, the resulting silhouette combined timeless Colors, elegance, and performance, with Made in the USA craftsmanship.

For his latest take on the silhouette, Joe Freshgoods looks back to his first new balathtnce Made in USA 992 collaboration for inspiration. Using soft pinks and oranges, the new colorway represents an idea of what his boldly colored original might look like if it had faded in sunlight over time. The resulting design, symbolic of their enduring relationship, features both brands’ logos positioned next to each other on the tongue, heel, and insoles, and special packaging to mark the occasion.
